Individual & Group EMDR Consultations
I completed EMDR basic training in 2017. It was before the pandemic, before the loud call for racial justice, and before the normalcy of meeting via Zoom. As I began looking for an Approved Consultant to receive my own consultation from, I quickly realized that there were not many EMDR therapists who specialized in attachment work with families or those who predominantly worked with people of color, let alone any BIPOC therapists offering such services even in diverse Southern California. Throughout my journey to become an AC, I knew I wanted to help fill that void. I am now an EMDR Approved Consultant who prioritizes supporting fellow BIPOC clinicians looking to support and uplift folks from marginalized communities.
A core value of Growing Glimmers Child, Family, Trauma Therapy is community care. My hope is that by providing culturally humble and affirming consultation services to fellow therapists, we are working together to create greater ripple effects of healing amongst the communities that are close to our hearts.
My fee for 1 hour of individual consultation is $130 and $45 for 1 hour of group.
